After a few days of unsure back and forth as to whether or not they were breaking up, actress Eva Longoria Parker officially announed her divorce from basketball husband Tony Parker.
Longoria filed for divorce on Nov. 17. She cited irreconcilable differences, and asked to have her maiden name restored from Parker’s name to Eva Jacqueline Longoria. The story become official with US Weekly after popping up on several news sites the day before.
Longoria and Parker met in 2004, and married in 2007 in Paris.
Longoria is seeking spousal support from Parker.
US Weekly also cited that Longoria recently discovered Parker was texting a mutual female friend personal text messages for the past year; hundreds of texts were sent in one month alone.
According to the divorce documents, the couple did sign a prenuptial argreement in 2007, which was amended in 2009. The details of that agreement were not stated.
