Fernando J. Gomez — Legal Administrator

Fernando J. Gomez has been the principal legal administrator for Dishon & Block, APC since 2006. Mr. Gomez has over 9 years experience in legal administration. His duties include the day-to-day administrative operations of all support functions, Human Resources, and Customer Service. He was raised in Southern California where he attended the University of California at Irvine.

Mr. Gomez also serves on the board of advisors in law firm legal management at the California State University at Fullerton Extension Program.

Additionally, he is a Federal Aviation Administration Certificated Commercial Pilot, including an accomplished Flight and Advanced Ground Instructor. During his spare time, he shares his passion for general aviation with the aviation community by providing flight and ground instruction. Mr. Gomez presently resides in Irvine, California.

Charlotte A. Carlyle — Senior Paralegal

Charlotte A. Carlyle has been with Dishon & Block, APC since 2005. She has been the manager of the firm’s paralegal department since 2008. Her responsibilities include the management of the paralegals and filing staff, as well as, case management, client communications, document preparation, and administrative procedure implementation. Mrs. Carlyle’s interpersonal skills, dedication to our clients and strong work ethic have made her a valued asset to the firm.

Mrs. Carlyle obtained her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies with honors from Coastline Community College in December 2008, and is currently working to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Liberty University. Mrs. Carlyle presently resides in Chino, California.

Jennifer A. Tollast — Paralegal

Ms. Tollast joined the team of Dishon & Block in 2009 as a paralegal. Ms. Tollast has been working in the field of Family law since 2007 and prides herself on her work ethic and attention the needs of the firm’s clients.

Ms. Tollast is an experienced paralegal and handles all matters with a deft and professional manner. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family.

Jasmine Geider — Paralegal

Jasmine Geider joined the team of Dishon & Block, APC in June 2007 as a file clerk and has since been promoted to Paralegal. Ms. Geider’s responsibilities include assisting senior paralegals by drafting pleading and discovery documents.

She prides herself in her ability to work as a team and multi-task. She enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors by snowboarding, running and spending time at the beach.

Courtney L. Smith — Receptionist

Courtney L. Smith is the receptionist at Dishon & Block since August 2009. Ms Smith’s responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, setting up new files, and maintaining all client files.

She recently moved back to Southern California from Kauai, Hawaii. She enjoys going to the beach, dancing, surfing, and traveling. She plans to continue her education at Orange Coast College in the near future.
